Preparing for Christmas

Christmas is a time to be with family, and have fun celebrating. But this year has the children even more excited. As a family we try to share the work by taking a turn to host the event, for example last year we were in Pembrokeshire.

So to be at home for Christmas is very special. This in it's self is a challenge to organise, accommodate traveling relatives, and sort out enough food to feed a small army. I remember having a conversation 12 months before about hosting 2013. Last year we had a house for sale and had no sign of moving or finding where we wanted to move to.

So you can imagine the horror when conversations started in the summer about this Christmas. In June we sold our family home of 8 years still without having a house to move to. So on moving into a cottage at the end of July. The race was on!

As with everything a lot needed to be done. With a loving supportive family to help, we have a cosy welcoming home ready for guests.
