Icy blast

As the country is gripped with the tail of a wave of Russian weather, we must spare a thought for vunerable groups of people. Ensuring that everyone is well equipped and safe.

Jack Frost has been dancing his way across the land for a week now. Brushing trees, grass, ponds and the motorists favourite their car. It is animals as well that live outdoors that need our care as well. In the last week my children have been on a walk and broken the ice on water troughs for horses near our home.

We all watch in anticipation as to where the snow will fall. Like a frozen moment in time. Painting a picture of purity, crisp and fresh for a moment, until spoilt by the world carrying on. Many happy it is happening at the weekend,and many unhappy that it might happen at all.

The weather man has been very good in saying snow by 1pm and it started at 12.35pm!
